ENCHANTER ► POTENCY ► ASPECT ► ESSENCE ► CREATE ► EXTRACT

OVERVIEW
An Enchanter gathers runes found throughout the world. They can then use Enchanting Tables to assemble those runes into glyphs that can enhance items that are worn or wielded.

Runes can also be extracted from glyphs by opening the extraction tab at an Enchanting Table. Choose a glyph from your inventory to perform an extraction. Remember that performing the extraction process will destroy the glyph.

Enchanters create glyphs by combining runes of three different types: Potency, Aspect and Essence. Potency will determine the required level and strength of the resulting glyph, Aspect will determine its quality, and Essence will determine its magical effect. A skilled Enchanter will collect and combine any runes he finds in an effort to decipher their hidden language and unlock their magical properties.

SKILLS
There are five skills for enchanting and all of them are passive. The first skill point you should invest in enchanting should be rank one of Keen Eye: Rune Stones to help you find more rune stones while exploring Tamriel.

Aspect Improvement 4 ranks Each rank unlocks the next tier of aspect runes for crafting, starting with Normal and Fine qualities at rank one, followed by Superior, Epic and finally Legendary at rank four.
Potency Improvement 10 ranks Each rank unlocks the next tier of potency runes for crafting.
Keen Eye: Rune Stones 3 ranks Highlights rune stones for gathering within 20m, increasing with rank to 30m, then 40m at rank three.
Hireling 3 ranks A hireling will mail you rune stones every day. At higher ranks you will receive more runes, the chance of better quality runes, and the hireling will send materials more often.
Aspect Extraction 3 ranks Increases the chances of extracting each type of rune stone by X% at rank one, increasing further to X% and then 10% at rank three.

The second is negative which means the resulting glyph will reduce something such as reducing the targets power. Potency runes also determine the minimum level of item that the created Glyph can be applied to.

Pick an essence rune: which determines the stat or attribute of the created glyph.
